IMMFA Assets Under Management

Since its inception in 2000, the assets under management of IMMFA's money market funds have grown from around €40 billion to around €500 billion. The level has fallen back from this peak, largely due to the recent low levels of yield in euro denominated MMF.

These funds are widely used by institutional investors to manage liquidity and act as important alternatives to cash accounts.

An estimated 50% of corporate treasurers* in Europe use money market funds to manage their excess cash.
